Rumor: Amazon to acquire Netflix?
The rumor mill is turning today with news that Amazon might be considering to buy out popular video service Netflix. Hey, if this won't interfere with how my Netflix works, will not put any delays in delivery/returns of movies, and (most importantly) will bump up the online content to add much newer and popular titles, I'd be all for it! Netflix needs to ramp up the on-demand stuff as they push their integration with TVs and their little net appliances, to keep the rapidly growing RedBox franchises at bay.

Definitely agree with that. As long as nothing changes on the home front, in terms of delivery and price, I'm ok with it. The addition of newer content for on demand is a huge plus, as well, as the current selection is pretty dismal.
Now... I wonder if they'll start w/ video game rentals. Or will that take a merger with GameFly? ;P Sheesh! |
