Speech too fast in T. Raider Ang of D.ness

Well, I bit the bullet and bought a 9600 XT. Tomb raider Angel of darkness came bundled, but when Lara speaks during the opening tutorial, the voice is sped up so much it's unintelligble.

Anyone else had this dilemma?

P.s. very happy with new card. Anyone want an fx5200 going cheap? anyone? anyone ?

System specs
is the opening tutorial the only moment the problem appears ? Have you tried disabling some of the fancy sound features ( EAX, etc ) & see if it still does it ?

PS .I'm sure if you would have to ship the fx5200 from Australia, it wouldn't be that cheap anymore.

I meant "anyone" as in no one would want it - except for a paperweight or something,

Will try your suggestions... Ta !

It may just be the game... Try the demo for a second (If there is a demo) And see if it still does that! You never know...

Try lowering the sound hardware acceleration, the controls for which I am sure you find in dxdiag, so run that from start, run then look to the sound tab.
