Clearification on driver "sweeping" please
I've been reading about how it's better to delete all past drivers for your video card prior to installing the newest one, doe this apply as well to if you do the device manager/device(graphics card)/ right click/check for updated drives...
If my driver is updated this way do I still or should I still delete "sweep" http://www.guru3d.com/category/driversweeper/ the drive prior to doing this every time to improve performance or no? thanks in advance. |

For both ATI and Nvidia... I have been installing new video drivers on op of the old for years now... The older video drivers (2000-2005) on weaker computers needed to be uninstalled before new drivers were applied. Not any longer
|
