Fujitsu Laptop unable to boot up -- BSOD

Hi,

I'm totally new here and to computers so pardon my lack of knowledge in anyway.

I just turned on my laptop and I got a BSOD, in which i responded by restarting. Now my laptop wouldn't boot at all. Not even in safe mode, safe mode with networking, safe mode with command prompt, last known good configuration, start windows normally and getting a BSOD for 0.005secs before it restarts and the whole process repeats itself.

I tried putting in the recovery disc but after booting up the disc, it says recover to default state and it advices me to backup my files before executing. But I can't seem to even get to back up my files?

Can someone kindly advice me on what I should do?

Hi

when windows starts to boot up press the F8 key and choose the option to disable auto restart on fail, this will then leave the blue screen up for you to read and the post the details here.

Hi,

The blue screen message is as follows:

A problem has been detected and Windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer.

SESSION3_INITIALIZATION_FAILED

If this is the first time you've seen this stop error screen, restart your computer. If this screen appears again, follow these steps:

Check to make sure any new hardware or software is properly installed. If this is a new installation, ask your hardware or software manufacturer for any windows updates you might need.

If problems continue, disable or remove any newly installed hardware or software. Disable BIOS memory options such as caching or shadowing. If you need to use Safe mode to remove or dosable components, restart your computer, press F8 to select Advanced Startup Options and then select Safe Mode.

Technical information:

Stop: 0x0000006F (0xC000012F, 0x00000000, 0x00000000, 0x00000000)

That's the error message I received. Just a side note, I installed avast! a couple of days ago, could it have been the cause of the blue screen?

Thanks!

im no total expert on blue screens, however if it only happened after a specific program was installed then its possible.....

you could try booting with the XP disk and choosing the option to repair an existing install
