Could be just me but.........

"MemTest is another free utility that you can find at www dot memtest dot org and it is designed to test your RAM. Since you have a laptop you will need to burn a CD."

So, I went to the site. It is as clear as mud which of those programs should be downloaded to test mem when running XP on my Compaq.

Again, just me maybe. Any one have the clue to the question as to which one?
I am getting the shut down and "serious error recovery" message every few days or so. No new programs or hardware added.

I am thinking HD or Memory probs......unless other is suggested. I update XP, Norton defs and other programs daily.

Then Download - Pre-Compiled Bootable ISO (.zip)
