Just heard that Richard Biggs (Dr Franklin) passed away from a possible massive stroke.

Sad irony that Paul Winfield (who played his father) passed away only a few months back.

Me neither. I'm pretty cut up about it myself and I'm not the one named after a Babylon 5 character!

Granted I'm not a die-hard fan of B5 in the meaning that my life doesn't revolve around the show, but still...
This came as a blow.

He only got to be 44 years old. Poor guy, and poor family.

He was a good actor, and when I heard him live in 97 he was quite incredible. And from Pat Tallman I heard he was a really stand-up guy who did his best to make others feel welcome...
