Weekend tech reading: No Pirate Bay deal after all?

No Pirate Bay deal, says key GGF technology partner Peerialism, the company set to provide the revolutionary P2P technology behind the new Pirate Bay, has announced that it is doubtful that it will do any business with Global Gaming Factory. GGF are supposed to buy Peerialism, but CEO Johan Ljungberg said that's doubtful since the company has no money. TorrentFreak

LOL...."screw Google" meetings? I live in Seattle and have a number of friends who work for MS, including a couple who are quite far up the food chain. They are well aware that they've been playing catch-up to Google for a number of years and are in no position to screw anyone. (However, they did do a terrific job with Bing, so maybe they're learning.)

If Microsoft locked Windows to Microsoft made PC's, well... its just that obvious what would happen.
Leave Psystar be, if Apple feels its hardware and service are truly superior to others, what is the fear of proving it to the world against competition?

Does anyone know why TPB tracker is still down? I was trying to download two episodes of "Pure Ownage" and while it works great anyway via DHT I can not get a connection to their tracker... Don't really see it reported in the news either...
I know that TPB's ISP shut them down, but then they brought up the cocky site they have now with that t-shirt on the frontpage "I spent months of time and millions of dollars to close down The Pirate Bay and all I'll get is this beautiful t-shirt!" seems kinda lame tho with the tracker still down no?

Per, try the openbitttorrent tracker; it works just as well for most of the torrents on TPB.
