My Audio Problems

I recently installed windows 7 on an old dell dimension 8200 with a Sound Blaster Live! Value card made only for dell

The sound card that was included with my computer came with drivers so I thought everything would go smoothly, but right as I finished installing, I would get a BSOD. And the only way to remove that BSOD was to go into safe mode and uninstall the bad driver.

Before finding the CD I found some tweaked drivers which enabled the sound card, but no sound was coming from my (WORKING) speakers.

Help is appreciated, need info? just ask please

You might have to replace the proprietary Sound Blaster with a Vista approved sound card. If this computer doesn't handle Vista, Windows 7 might not be a suitable OS either
