Apple lowers Apple TV price, drops 40GB model

If recent changes in its lineup are of any indication Apple could be preparing to revamp the floundering Apple TV device. Shortly after its music-themed event last week, the company has dropped the price of the 160GB model to $229 -- a healthy $100 discount -- while at the same time killing the lower capacity 40GB version which previously occupied that price point.

Great, but not here in Spain. The cynic in me says that Apple will offload all 40GB stock to Europe where is constantly overcharges copmparison to the US (even when taking into account bulk shipping and inventory hub costs.
