Whenever I try to play The Sims 2 Apartment life, I get this error message:

Failed to enumerate any DirectX 9 compatible graphics adapters in this system!

Please make sure you have a DirectX 9 compatible graphics adapter and have installed the lates manufacturer provided driver.

The application will now terminate...

I was able to play all of my Sims 2 Expansion packs until I installed The Sims 2 Apartment Life. Here are the expansion packs that I have besides Apartment Life:

The Sims 2 Open For Business
The Sims 2 Pets
The Sims 2 University
The Sims 2 Freetime
