But imho, if I were to buy a new "gaming" computer now, I would wait to dx11 video cards were released.

If you are looking to buy a custom built pc may i recommend arbico (google it, cant paste links yet)

Two important questions need to be asked and answered by you:

1. What is your budget?

2. Besides gaming, what else do you want your system to do?

A third one is where do you live so we know where you can order the parts from.

A fourth one is, Do you have any parts from a PC that you think you will be able use such as minitor and keyboard?
