IQ Test
http://www.iqtest.com/iqtestfinalinstructions.html
-You must solve the problems mentally. -Do not use pencil or paper during this test. -You should try to respond to each IQ Test problem in twenty (20) seconds or less. The faster you do this test, the more valid will your score be. So think fast. You should attempt to finish the test in less than 13 minutes--correct responses in less time increase your Computational Speed and greatly increase the accuracy of the test results. If you take more time than you need to, your IQ Score will be lower and less reliable. Each problem must be answered true or false. -If thirteen minutes have passed OR -If you have responded to all the statements, then it would generally be best to submit your responses at that time, and the computer will determine your IQ Score and report it to you. I did the test (38 questions) in my head in 9 minutes and scored a 142. Email I received: Thank you for recently taking the IQ Test, your score was: 142 Average: 85 - 115 Above average: 116 - 125 Gifted Borderline Genius: 126 - 135 Highly gifted and appearing to be a Genius to most others: 136 - 145 Genius: 146 - 165 High Genius: 166 - 180 Highest Genius: 181 - 200 Beyond being measurable Genius: Over 200 |

Online IQ tests aren't very accurate. It's just for fun. Even though they try to sell you that gimmick plaque thing.

If you wish to purchase your Complete Personal Intelligence Profile, you can do so by going to this address: blahblahblah send us money marketing crap.... Keep in mind online tests are HIGHLY unscientific, not to mention a person's results can vary daily, usually by up to 10 points. My average range is usually in the mid to high 140s, to be honest. Had it done professionally once for employment purposes, did better on that one though (I'll not post the score here though, but based on what I've told you and you see above, shouldn't be surprising.) EDIT: I see Acid reposted what I had in mind while I was taking the test. ![]() Last edited by Goalie; 06-10-2004 at 02:37 AM. |

I scored 161... but different IQ tests give results on different scales. emode.com has an IQ test that gave me 128. Of course, it could be because of my age that it gave me such a high score. I think the emode test is much more accurate, because it wasn't just True and False, but multiple choice. It also had a variety of problems for people who are better with pictures than words.

This has to be one of the least accurate tests I've seen, its entirely too simple and it doesn't have anywhere near the number of questions that many real tests I've taken have.
BTW, 182 was my score. For the record, I usually score 130-145 on IQ tests, so I'd say this one is WAY off the mark. |

Well, I took the test and then hit the back button and changed the time, then re-clicked the complete button. I don't know what calcs that test uses, but it is way off the mark. Using identical answers for each go, I got the following results (time is in brackets) ...
1. 160 (10 mins) 2. 46 (8 mins) 3. 159 (13 mins) 4. 44 (11 mins) 5. 47 (5 mins) 6. 156 (9 mins) It seems like there is a random number generator working out the results. Just for interest, I know that I got all of the questions correct, except for one (If you have three quarters and a dime and a nickel and spend thirty three cents then this leaves you with fifty two cents. - I'm not american), they were very easy after all. I didn't however record my time so I guessed that part. Not an accurate test by any means, it would appear. |

144 when saying 13 minutes and 146 when saying 9...
And that is without even known the ration of pounds and ounces, or dollars, nickels and quarters... |

for future reference, 1 dollar=100 cents, a quarter=25 cents, a dime=10 cents, a nickel=5 cents and a penny=1 cent.

You've got way too many denominations for something as simple as money. (Or at least too many names for the different coins ) |
