Backup image details from Picasa
Hi!
Does anyone know where Picasa 3.5 stores information about my images? Is everything stored inside the .jpg file and in the picasa.ini file? The reason I'm asking is that I'm about to reinstall Windows, and I don't want to lose all information like tags, comments and face detection. I'll backup my documents and images folders, of course, but I'd like to know if Picasa stores information somewhere else. Thanks |

I'm not 100% sure, but I'm willing to bet it's in C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\Google\ - somewhere in there if you're on a Vista or 7 machine.

I think you're right, at least I found thumbnails and a file with all the names. I'll take a backup of that too.
