Firefox 3.7 to bring Windows 7 jumplist support

With Windows 7's debut right around the corner, program developers are working to fine tune their software for Microsoft's latest operating system. In addition to the other interface tweaks and new features, Windows 7's revamped taskbar is probably the first thing that will catch your eye. Jumplists have been a god send for opening files recursively on Notepad, Word and Excel for me so far. I wouldn't know about Firefox, perhaps it will be just as practical. The thing about Firefox is that I happen to have it opened 95% of the time anyway.

I’ve downloaded and installed Firefox 3.7 with Jumplist Support. No changes comparing with the usual Minefield. Is this new feature only operative on Windows 7?

Mozilla has added jump list *support*, not jump lists themselves. For Firefox to have jump lists, an operating system that offers them is required. In this case, Windows 7 is the only one.

Hi Rick,
Many thanks for your answer!
