After looking through a few pages and not seeing much, then finally i saw pics which drew me to the conclusion.

Which is: I have Three 1.8 Machines, two of which i might keep one i might sell. A Dell 2.4 That all are not hooked up

I have a PS3, Samsung 30' slimfit, PS2.

Going to buy: XBOX 360 Elite, A Few LCD monitors and a sexy desk. Lets not forget building my custon gaming PC, intel core 2 duo 2.66 8800GTX 640 or 768mb and i need a surround sound system. so basically i have to hustle get my PT Jobb and spend about another 3000 to be digitally satisfied by the end of this year. Lets not forget a sexy Desk lmao. Also i have a Gateway laptop 1.7 that im using to be on here bought in 2005 lmao!

And yes i am 19 , poor as hell so i need a few not that anyone cares, long story short, hope to have things posted especially a pic of my digital pleasures by the end of this year.

This b me b4 i got into Computers just a video-game football Fanatic. YEs FISHBOWLING ON THE DAY OF THE SUPERBOWL haha

I have 2 screens so I don't have to alt tab or mouse over to click a button on the task bar. I often have mIRC, Winamp, Opera, Trillian all open that takes up over 1 screen at 1680x1050, so I have a second screen to handle IM conversations, explorer windows, and anything else I don't want on my left screen.

I also have more than 1 PC because, well mainly because this stuff is like a hobby to me. Plus its just redundancy, if I have a catastrophic failure on one machine I still have another (or several) that still work perfectly that I could use. Another reason is to be comfortable with a different OS. And yet another reason is one machine constantly runs torrents, I'd rather not put the wear and performance hit of doing that on my main PC.

I only have one screen, but I'm a bit of a collector. I have a Macintosh IIsi, with monitor and Apple 2500 printer, an Acer Baby AT, that uses both PCI and ISA cards, and either SIMM or DIMM memory, a PowerMac 8600/300, a Packard Bell Multimedia L197, a Compaq 5100US, an eMachine T2080, and 3 DIY units, plus a couple of lap tops. They all get dragged out and used once in a while. Makes you more appreciative of the newer stuff. Especially when you get irritated when something doesn't load in the blink of an eye.

Brother, the 3.5" FDD were so unreliable, that I had to get the oldie.

Of course the dealer couldn't understand why I ordered the 5.25".

Thank god for the CD writer. Now I can backup my work safely!

Hi,
My first post here LOL
(the forum told me to)

I am Patrick "Catman" Webb. I am posting from Top Of The Rock Wildlife Sanctuary in N. Central Arkansas.

I just completed a 16 month project of an online illustrated story, called the Tigerman Saga.
dubyadubyadubya*
tigerman.us

All of the Bryce6, Daz3d and Hexagon2 rendering has taken a toll on my poor homemade PC.

I am trying to burn DVD shows of that Saga, and am having problems. I saw a post of a similar prob with DVD burning (no, it's not the burner), so I have joined here to search out tech assist on this prob and a few other issues.

Oh, pictures of me? hahaha (guard your PC, I don't want to break your monitor)
This is the "About The Author" page in the Saga.
dubyadubyadubya*
tigerman.us/aboutauthor/

There are links to the wildlife santuary on almost every page of the Saga. Look forward to meeting folks here.

*(It won't let me post links, so I hope those are ok)
