Hi I recently purchased a computer and have been haveing problems playing these 2 games but not others that are newer so im thinking its a driver problem but im not sure, When starting these 2 games they both run smoothly but in both the menus and whilst playing the games my speakers stop and start repeating the past like .3 seconds for about 3-6 seconds then the computer completely freezes makeing no noise but still showing a the last image on the screen,any ideas and or links to downloads that should fix?

Any patches or fixes to Counter Strike: Source would automatically come from Valve whenever you open the game so if you are having the same trouble with another game, I would suspect the graphics card driver and possibly the sound driver.
