I am seeing "IRQL_NOT_LESS_EQUAL" error with blue screen and unable to login.
Its XP professional , Compaq notebook and was working fine for more than 20 months. I could not even read the complete error message. The system gets rebooted as soon as I see this blue screen. I ran the memory test from BIOS and it passed. I deleted a driver accidentally (I think its Nvidia) and it got installed from internet automatically (I opted for this when I was asked) and I saw this error after one or two days. I could not even login using the safe mode and I get an error "Press ESC to cancel loading stpd.sys" error. By the way I changed the memory modules the day I got this notebook long back. I replaced two 512 MB withg two 1 GB modules. I appreciate your time and help. Admin:: Could you please move this post to : BSOD Help & Support Last edited by anipadu; 10-14-2009 at 04:19 PM..
