Root access in OS X Leopard
Hi!
I'm new to OSX Leopard, and I'm not sure how to run a program with root privilege. This is a command I've been told to run in terminal, but how do I run it with root privileges? Code:
vi /System/Library/Extensions/IONetworkingFamily.kext/Contents/PlugIns/AppleBCM5701Ethernet.kext/Contents/Info.plist Thanks |

Have you tried it with using sudo first?

OK, thanks. It didn't seem to work at first, maybe because my account didn't have a password. After adding a password it worked.
