Umm as for my movies I would say the first Matrix, Fight Club, Godfather Part 1 & 2, Donnie Darko, American History X, Catch Me If You Can, Matchstick Men (love con movies), and I guess the Lord of the Rings series for geek purposes.

I don't watch alot of TV, but the shows I do watch consist of the Sopranos, Band of Brothers, and Pimp My Ride

i was gonna say something about gone in 60 seconds but beauty is in the eye of the beholder and soooo agissi is right in his own twisted way (best ever????!!!).

donnie darko is a pretty good movie - the first time i saw it, it blew me away - sort of like the matrix before the sequels

the good, the bad and the ugly - unforgiven - the man with no name trilogy - the alien trilogy ( the fourth - alien resurection does not count as it was directed by a frenchman and absolutely aweful but thats a given since it was again directed by a frenchman), Dr. Strangelove, die hard trilogy, se7en

the following woody allen movies - bananas, take the money and run, whats up tiger lilly, and zelig

every ahnuld movie ever...EVER - including the one where he gets pregnant, almost every jack nicholson movie, terry gilliam movies

as for shows (adding to simpsons and ATHF) - futurama, married with children, family guy and pretty much every cartoon series from - 1985 to 1998

I MADE THIS THREAD SO PPL COULD SEE EACH OTHERS FAVORITE THINGS TO WATCH AND HAVE SOMETHING IN COMMON. BUT YOU MADE IT GAY BY JUDGING OTHER PPL. SO KEEP YOUR COMMENTS TO YOURSELF AND LAUGH.

no reason to be mad - i didnt knock anyone...just movies which last time i checked are inanimate objects.

hahaha (thats me laughing!) all my movies are widely known - ahnuld movies?? (that would be Arnold Schwarzenegger) Clint Eastwood movies, Woody Allen movies, alien quadtrilogy (Ridley Scott and James Cameron starring Sigourney Weaver ), die hard trilogy (Bruce Willis) - honestly all of them have a huge following and im more then sure you would like the vast majority of them (your most likely going to have to wait a few years to rent or see them since most are rated R). and thats the only reason you dont know about them - theyre old - no reason to hate.

if i wanted to throw out random indie flicks i would be like - city of god by Fernando Meirelles (the most gangster movie ever by the way - if you like scarface your gonna like this one - and its a true story)

come to think of it i really just knocked mrdeeds which was knocked by everybody...maybe thats a sign...

ehh...

Cool down will you?

There's no reason to shout, or call something "GAY" (as long as you don't use it to mean "happy", "merry", "joyous" which was the words original meaning) because not everyone agrees with you.

You actually were the one who started the "knocking" in this thread, by saying that "Singing in the Rain" sucks.

Anyways.
I think this has gone far enough, and that we all should take a step back.
We're discussing movies, and it's not the end of the world if someone doesn't like the same movie as you.
Either ignore those posts or answer them in a civil way, unless you want to get the moderators attention....
We've already discussed this thread, don't make us do it again.

If you find the need to write something to one person only & that you eventually do not want other people to read it, use the function.

It keeps the threads clean & keeps people out of your "business".

Oh yeah, Fight Club was good (as someone mentioned here). LoTR movies were great.. Perhaps a runner for my all time favorite.

I would have to say that I simply have no favorite single movie or even show (although I would be much more able to name a favorite series).

And for that reason, I shall say no more.

But I would also like to add....

Who saw Spiderman2? This movie is AMAZING. Good plot, good character developement and the clincher, Flawless CGI. The trains scene was AMAZING. It looked so real. And also in this movie, you feel a lot more sympathetic towards Tobie McGuire's character. How they did Doc Ock was amazing. Again, it looked soo real. All in all, a great movie with a great plot and an excellent exhibition of CGI at its best. Way better than the original, you have to see it.

Yeah - I agree - it was great CGI. There was only one part where I didn't like the CGI - at the end with the helicopters. I'm thinking they did that to remind us it's a comic. I really enjoyed the movie though and so did my wife
