I think I can narrow down some anime to include now since I couldn't back in 2004 when this thread started.

Movie: Escaflowne, Serenity, Final Fantasy Advent Children, Tekkonkinkreet
Series: Escaflowne, Firefly, Naruto, Tenchi (all of them), Samurai Champloo, Heroes, remove One Tree Hill from my 2004 list

Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles is pretty good. I also loved the finale of Avatar: The Last Airbender, but I'm also disappointed that it's over. Or is it? Anyone know for sure?
I started watching Smallville recently as well, and I'm hooked for now.

As for anime, I like One Piece, GTO, Naruto and the now-over Death Note and Devil May Cry series. Can anyone recommend any show similar to these?

What about FLCL, Code Geass, and Blood+? I don't really know if they're similar but they're good. OH, Gintama is really good! Look for that!

Since my last comment I have watched the first 2 seasons of Dexter. That has now replaced everything else I've seen as my favorite TV show, its in a league of its own. I think season 3 starts in sept or oct on Showtime.

If you have Netflix, the first season is available to watch online.

Well, FLCL is my all time favorite anime so that one for sure - I haven't seen all of Code Geass or Blood+ yet so I can't really judge those yet. I have tons of anime still wrapped in the original plastic - priorities have changed a bit in my life so keeping up with all the new games and anime has been pushed way down the list. I try to catch up where I can though

I still watch Smallville and personally think this season is the best so far. Dexter was excellent before, but seems kinda mediocre now. Terminator's also kinda sloppy now, I doubt it's gonna come back for another season. Supernatural's amazing though, with some great writing and acting, as is American Dad!, which is the funniest show on TV right now IMO.

I agree on Dexter. Its had maybe 1 really good episode this season, the rest have been alright, but nothing like any from season 2.

Monday's episode of Terminator was a bit odd, not sure how well I like them doing the story from everyone's perspective. But I thought one of the recent episodes was really good. I don't think its any worse than it was last year.

Fringe isn't very good, yet I continue to watch it.

Chuck is still pretty solid, I hope his ex girlfriend stick around, she's hot.

The Big Bang Theory is still decent for what it is.

Family Guy is a great show. I see it from time to time if I'm not already sleeping with it comes on. I can watch the same episode 5 times and still laugh.
