CPU and motherboards

Hello there,

I had a bit of problem with my computer. It seems that it doesn't beep though the CPU fan is working properly... I've tried everything: i've replaced everything (including the CPU) just to make sure it works, but it doesn't. I've tried to insert all the parts from my old computer into another unit, and it works fine. I thought that my motherboard was broken but by the time i've placed its CPU into the other unit, the CPU wont work either. Is it possible that both of my CPU & my motherboard are busted??? Place help me... don't know what to do.

System specs
The CPU has to be installed in a motherboard that accepts the processor type. If you are sure that the test motherboard was compatible with this suspect CPU, yes the CPU and motherboard may both be damaged

You say it doesn't beep. Do you have it plugged into a speaker?
