Addition to TechSpot's Gnotify Download
I have a new computer with XP.
I downloaded gnotify from TechSpot and then spent the next several days trying to figure out why it kept failing to work (i tried the download from other sites as well. All had the same problem!) I finally found the download requires a patch if you want gnotify to work with secure login (https). I'd suggest this fact (and a link to the patch) also be available from TechSpot's download page. See here for Gmail Notifier info (and scroll down to see the "Note" about the patch) |

Thanks for the tip LookinAround. We will add a note to our download entry of Gmail Notifier.
