Asus aims to sell over 16 million notebooks next year

Asus expects next year to bring a significant boost in mobile PC shipments, with notebook sales (including netbooks) jumping from 12 million units in 2009 to over 16 million in 2010. Total global notebook shipments are forecasted to increase from 140 million units to 180-190 million, and Asus has set a personal goal to sit among the top three vendors by 2011.
