The RIAA Strikes Back!
The RIAA is back again with a fresh round of lawsuits against online music swappers, this time targetting 482 individuals in the USA, and bringing to a total 3,429 people sued in the USA for illegal file trading.
"It's as important as ever that we continue to enforce our rights and ensure that fans enjoy digital music in a fashion that supports the creative process rather than one that robs it of its future," Steven Marks, RIAA's general counsel, said in a statement. "The online marketplace has changed dramatically since we began this campaign." More here. |
