Restore to Dissimilar Hardware
Acronis have just released add-on for Home True Image named Plus Pack which includes enterprise features - well, yes, it costs money, but as for me - the universal restore worth it! What is in Plus Pack:
-Restore to Dissimilar Hardware - allows to restore your data regardless of hardware -Dynamic Disk Support - backup ad restore dynamic volumes -WinPE Support - integrates latest MS drivers, apps & plugins on your bootable media Here is the link to the addon - Plus Pack And its data sheet |

Universal Restore has been out for a while. When I tried it a while back it didn't work for me. It may work for someone else, as they may have improved on it. Acronis is good at what it does but is not perfect. In many ways it is buggy. The basic backup and restore features work well. The boot CD works well in disaster situations. As for other features they dont work quite as good especially with the Enterprise Server version.
