first time wirting here =)

I have a prolem with my sound driver.
I just installed windows 7 and it's great, every thing works fine except the sound driver. I have Asus P5VD2-MX nother board and I looked all over the internet for a solution and nothing. I tried installing Vista 32bit drives and XP drivers and yet it doesnt work.

is this for onboard sound or a sound card or what? And if so what brand and size 2.0 5.1 7.1? And are you getting any error messages or other kind when you try to install?

It's an onboad soundcard and no i don't get any errores during install
maybe the notherboard just can't work with win7? i read somewhere that Asus don't have a driver for my motherboard that can work with win7 is it true?

Go to the Asus Global site. There are drivers for Vista there that will work with Win7

I tried that option but it doesn't work

any way i tried a diffrent sound card i had and it's working now
