I've been playing FSX a lot lately, and I have some questions about the built-in ATC.
First time I contact tower the message usually looks something like this:
Porland Ground, Boeing N737T with Golf, request taxi for takeoff, touch and go.

What does the "with Golf" part mean? The letter changes for every take-off (Tango, Foxtrot etc.) and sometimes it's suppressed.
