Google agrees to buy AdMob for $750 million in stock
Google announced today that it has agreed to acquire the mobile display advertising startup AdMob for some $750 million in stock. Founded in 2006, the AdMob is a mobile advertising marketplace that connects advertisers with mobile publishers.

Wow google is rich, 750 million for a mobile ads company, not that I don't already see google ads everywhere. They already have a google phone... now will include google ads...google everywhere..

At least someone is swimming in cash in these tough times. This is a smart move from google to enter to market so early. Soon having internet on the telephone will be much more important than the ability to call someone with it.
