Maxtor Mini III
I went through the set up process on a maxtor mini III I've not used for awhile. All seemed to go well. at the end of its backup process, there was a message that the back up was complete and that "0 files were updated." Now, I KNOW there's new stuff on my HD. Also, this is the message I always got before.
Q1. Is there a way to access a file on the maxtor to check if its actually done its back up? Q2. Has anyone else had this issue of '0 files updated?' Q3. I'd like to back up other items on my computer but not on my HD using this, such as, iCal, iPhoto, iTUnes, desktop. Is any of this possible? Thanks |

Maxtor is the bad luck drive system, and has been trouble for at least four years. I see no need to spend money on a Maxtor product until they show they have conquered their reliability problems.
