Who else uses Steam?

Who here on TechSpot uses Steam to play games or just to chat with friends? I don't believe we have a thread about this so I figured I'd ask and see who's a Steam user. Maybe if we get enough people we can make a Steam group.

I have a Steam account because you have to for certain games but I don't actually go online to game or chat. Single player only.

I've been on steam for years now. Any games that don't use steam I add a shortcut to them in steam. I used to use it for chat, but now I use ventrilo since the voice chat is much better.

There's still the TechSpot group on Steam. Not much going on in it but then again it doesn't have that many members.

I use Steam to play several games - but never chat on it. It just let's my friends know when I'm playing something so they can jump in with me.

I use steam. I have many many games, I mostly play TF2, unreal 3, Eve online (bought first month on steam) and L4D. I also have warhammer DoW2, Saints Row 2, Boaderlands, garrys mod, Crysis warhead, and a few other single player games.

I also have Xbox live, mainly play gears2 and halo3
I also have PSN, mainly play GTA4 and COD4

I use Steam here and there, would like to buy more things off it so I don't require CD's anymore, but I currently only have Borderlands on Steam.

Hi, sorry but what is Steam exactly? Sounds like it could be worth joining - I'm new to Xbox 360 and would probably be interested in it :-) thanks

Steam is for PC ;)

hello ...

Steam is for PC gamers, sorry but to my knowledge not for consoles ...

in fact it is a bit like Xbox Live or PSN where you can meet friends, buy & download games & mostly use it as a platform for MP

cheers!
