Win 7 upgrade

i have a hp zv5330us
p4 3.2 ghz cpu
1gb ram
ati mobility radeon 9000/9100 agp display adapter
st980815a 80gb
ran a win 7 test and it said i could not use win 7 on this computer
have any reason why
have ran on slower single core computers and passed

Run it again after you have upgraded the memory... are you using Value Ram or other slow ram.
you may need a second module of at least 512 mb... But it is usually the quality of the memory. Run MemTest86 for four hours or seven passes, which ever is longer.

Just an absolute shot in the dark here, but DirectX 9 is a listed graphics requirement for Aero, and I don't believe your graphics chip supports it. Perhaps that's why your system failed the Windows 7 test.

It's also worth noting that my old Radeon 9200se lost driver support with Vista -- and it doesn't seem your HP ZV5330US has Vista/7 drivers at all either. http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/s...roduct=433744&
