Hey I have changed to windows 7 and I am getting periodic bsods that says 0x0000007e. The full error is,

Anyone got any idea?

Start by confirming all your hardware drivers are up to date: http://support.asus.com/download/download.aspx
Next try running a Memtest on your Ram: http://www.techspot.com/vb/post653029-21.html

Also which Antivirus or 3rd party firewall do you use? You may want to try uninstalling them (some also require the removal tools to be run (namely Norton and AVG)

So ya I should have included this in my original post. I have been having memory problems. Recently my powersupply blew out and I had to replace it. Ever since that I have been having this, im actually running on only one gig of ram because the pc wont boot with the other one in it. So ya I did the mem test and here are the results....lol....

ya I knew my ram was goin bad...i got lucky...amazon put 4 gigs of OCZ ram for 60 bucks, I bought it a few days ago and and looked back yesterday and they corrected it and set it to $120.
