0x0000007e bsod error - windows 7

Hey I have changed to windows 7 and I am getting periodic bsods that says 0x0000007e. The full error is,

Stop 0x000007e(0xffffffffC0000005, 0xfffff80002bda797, 0xfffff880033DB608, 0xfffff880033DAE60)

My system is


Processor:
Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Quad CPU Q6600 @ 2.40GHz (4 CPUs)
Memory:
2046MB RAM
Hard Drive:
500 GB
Video Card:
NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GTS 512
Operating System:
Windows 7 PRO 64 bit
Motherboard:
Asus P5N-D NVIDIA nForce× 750i SLI 2xPCIex16 DDR2 800 5 Motherboard

Anyone got any idea?
 
So ya I should have included this in my original post. I have been having memory problems. Recently my powersupply blew out and I had to replace it. Ever since that I have been having this, im actually running on only one gig of ram because the pc wont boot with the other one in it. So ya I did the mem test and here are the results....lol....

  • Replace the faulty Ram

ya I knew my ram was goin bad...i got lucky...amazon put 4 gigs of OCZ ram for 60 bucks, I bought it a few days ago and and looked back yesterday and they corrected it and set it to $120.
