Install Windows XP from USB?

Hi!

So I have a 10.1" laptop that needs a new copy of windows. It has no XP Home so I was just planning on reinstalling it, but the laptop has no cd-drive so I was wondering that is it possible to install windows from a usb drive? -and if so, do I have to do anything special to the usb memory stick or is it just to copy the setupfiles?
