BSOD in Windows 7 new install
Hello,
I am getting a pretty frequent BSOD on windows 7. The dmp files seem to point to ntfs.sys. Can anyone suggest what might be wrong and how I can fix this? dmp files attached below. Thanks! |

could be a missing storage driver or corrupted installation. you could try putting in your win7 OEM disk and try to recopy the file. 90% of BSODs are caused by drivers though so check to see if all of your drivers are installed using Device Manager. you may have to download some windows 7 beta drivers in order for some of the hardware to work properly. a lot of older hardware may be unsupported...

NTFS.sys is the NTFS driver. Needed for Windows NT/2000/XP/Vista/7 and any other OS that uses NTFS for the file system. |
