Having problem activating the Volume Tabs in the RealTek Mixer Panel. The RealTek sound is integrated with the motherboard.

I had this information previously, but lost it when power surge wiped out a few things. I can navigate my way to several windows that display various volume controls but not the ones dealing with Recording via the Line-in input. When displaying the Mixer Panel, only the Sound Output or Play section has volume tabs which are movable.

What are the steps required to activate the Recording Volume tabs in the Mixer Panel?

Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the application?

Did this previously. Apparently, the installation does not include activated volume tab controls for the Recording section of the RealtTek Mixer Panel.

I managed to locate a User's manual, but like so many, it is not much help in this regard. They show photos of windows displaying pertinent information, but leave out any steps on how to get to those windows.
