Use Eclipse To Build Mobile Phone Apps
Eclipse, my favourite IDE for Java, which is of course free, has just received support from Nokia for using the platform to build applications for its phones and devices. More here.
"We started this investigation into Eclipse at the grass-roots level, and the end result is we have our first products here," Salzmann said. "We're also looking at Eclipse as a C++ development environment." The CDT, or C/C++ Development Tools, is a plug-in for Eclipse developed by QNX Software Systems Ltd. |
