I've got a lil' black Nissan pick-up. It's not pretty, but it's an extra-cab, and gets GREAT gas mileage.

And weather permitting, also a 200cc Chinese-made enduro. Think "dirt bike" but with turn signals and such so it's street-legal. Tops out at about 70mph though.

I've also got a cheesy little 49cc scooter. It's actually cool for short trips to the "better" beach about a mile down Gulf Blvd. And painted a la Mad Max with spray paint. Plus, scooters are EVERYWHERE on the beaches, so no stigma attached.

I live on a pretty good beach already, but a beach called Sunset is usually alot cleaner. Has something to do with the way it juts out into the Gulf of Mexico, being a man-made peninsula. Less seaweed/shells and more sand. And a LOT less tourists.

F yeah. Go the Telstar... it's my first car, I actually really don't mind it though. Not a bad little car. But mine looks a lot worse than that..

Soon I shall hopefully be driving a '99 Subaru Liberty

A segway.

I don't know if you could describe it as 'driving'.

Cars are really my passion and I'm a ridiculous gearhead. Chevys are the only thing I ever have or will own, and I can't seem to drive anything without taking it apart and building it the way I want it. I've completely replaced/modified/upgraded everything in both of my current cars, and I've aready started modding the truck I just bought even though I told myself I wouldn't.

1980 Camaro Z28 - nasty 400hp 355ci v8 with 6spd manual trans, performance suspension and modern interior (started life as a weaksauce 190hp 350 w/ 4spd)

1991 Beretta "SS" - 220hp 3.4L v6 5spd with new custom paint, interior and performance suspension and 17" wheels (born from GM as a 135hp 3.1L GT)

1994 Silverado Z71 - ~220hp 5.7L v8 auto 4x4 (only simple mods so far like ultimate TBI intake & exhaust and chrome delete)

I've got a bunch more info on my own site (gearheaddezign.com) and on motortopia.com/woody2136

I bought this new it's cheep to own only 800cc though so not exactly a powerful machine (maTIZ) Especially since I learnt to drive a rear wheel drive '76 Charger. Kinda sorta missed the whole rear wheel drive so bought the Buell (in 2003 which makes it anniversary ). Going from the V twin 1200cc Harley motor to the 800cc Matiz tin can you feel like the world suddenly got slowed down (without the Hippie glasses)

It's a Valiant, Of course I've broken door handles-what do you take me for, an amateur!. Not to mention boot locks.
Nice Charger - VH XL ?
Had a couple (both VJ's- 318 2bbl at 17 yrs old, and later,a 265 2bbl (too plain) mutated into 340-4bbl (E55 wannabee-bad weight distribution) and ended it's days after my flatmate bought it and shoehorned a 440 into it- stacked into the Auckland motorway armco.

VJ (245-2bbl & 245 auto) original all stock I've found it hard to explain to the young-n-crew of today that a stock car that era would make their 4 pot wizz wizz pop eat grass. But they just don't get the big picture....the supercar era was just that. You go to the Dealer folk over the $3800(AUS) or so then go race it with the big guns at the weekends.

I met this one guy who was racing these who swore by the 318 (with something taped over the top) but he reduced his frontend weight by hand manufacturing a bonnet out of this new weave stuff called "carbon fibre". When I spoke to him he was contemplating doing the guards as well (boot lid was alloy, dry sump, oil reservoir in the bottom of the petrol tank) He left the standard tailpipe out the back as a joke

Being a two door the passenger side door handle broke every other month. I went to the reseller who suggested replacing the striker pin on the Body. That was so effective I gave him back one of my "in stock door handles" as a thank you
Only other thing that I used in abundance was rear Universal Joints (not to mention tyres or lets just say I worked the rear around a bit)
