Acer Aspire One ZG5 Hard Dirve question

I have the above named netbook and I think I have to replace the hard drive. My question is ... is there any difference between a Sata drive and a Sata II drive ?
It has a Sata II drive ( HTS543216L9A ) in it now. Thanks.
 
Only speed will differ but putting a SATA II HDD on a SATA port will give you only 1.5 GBPS. So for 3.0 GBPS you will need SATA II Port and SATA II HDD but in your case I thin you have both.
 
Thanks so mcuh for your help. So its just the speed that will suffer. Your saying a plain SATA will fit ? ( same connector )
