Blue screen on notebook

my daughters notebook was ok one minute it came back from having a new keyboard fitted she but it on and there were about 29 updates it did all this for her and then she turned off and put on charge turned it on this morning and she has a blue screen with tool bar at bottom but when you click on anything nothing happens could anyone out there give me some advice to what it is or how i can fix it

Can you give us some details about the OS? make/model of the notebook

the model is a asus linux eeepc 8gb notebook sorry what is a os as im not that brill on computer talk

OS = Operating System; BSOD on Linux you mean, right ?

That bold/red bit above says linux in it, so I thought your netbook came with Linux Operating System. Is that correct? or was it a typing mistake and instead its a windows netbook?
