sorry to bore you with what i guess has been done before.
want to connect the pc in my living room to the office via a wireless router.
the lady in the store recommends a 3com wireless router as she says it has better range.(also better thru concrete) i am living in asia so not a lot of choices.
what i was curious about was using a usb 2.0 wireless connection to the living room pc, I wanted a pci card but she said the usb was no problems.(thats all she had)
after i thought about it maybe a good idea as i can put the minitower in a cabinet with the aerial on top.
any comments from anybody with experience. what are the alternatives.
i don't want to have to route the cat 5 thru concrete walls, prefer wireless.
