one of the best $35 i ever spent was on Boot-It NG, perhaps the best boot manager / partition manager for windows out there

Have to agree with Steeve, I've been using Boot-It NG for over 3 years now. It makes image and partition work so simple.
It's not as pretty as some others but one of the best pc things I've spent money on ... and I never spend money on apps when there are so many great free ones.
