The release of DOOM 3 will doubtlessly prompt a number of readers to go out and upgrade their graphics cards. I myself foolishly bought a Geforce 6800 on Visa. Shame on me. I'm scared to think its possible to make a graphics card 1 or 2 hundred dollars cheaper. I spent 50 EUR on my graphics card. A year ago. Does me fine, should even be able to cope with GTA San Andreas when the PC version (eventually) comes out.
