A very interesting read, summing up some rather annoying problems with Word.

Too bad it didn't go into the pro's and con's of using OO/SO or something similar...

Oakenfold, IMO, has lost his credibility and golden touch. His past couple of albums have been rather dissapointing and sales flops, and I've heard his concerts are slacking (as opposed to mix session.)

Not to mention the sellout factor. Here's to hoping he comes back around. I'd love to get some new stuff of his to mix into sets, but right now.. *sigh*

Those first 3 problems he's had I have never had. I think he didn't install it to "run all from computer" or whatever it is that installs all those things that apparently he is having to download.

I would agree. I've seen it happen occasionally on a default install, and even then not that often.

When it does stupid stuff where it wants to constantly reinstall, usually blowing away the user office profile and recreating will solve it anyway.

But is that something you want to do, instead of having a 'working' word processor?
