AMD to demo "Toledo" at October's Processor Forum

The Fall Processor Forum this October will have an interesting visit from AMD, who will be talking about their new "Toledo" dual-core chip. Hopefully, we will all soon get to hear about what dual-core tech AMD will be bringing to us soon, rather than us just hearing some vague plans.

"Toledo" will be the name of the dual-core chip replacing the Athlon FX in desktop PCs. Its arrival will mark the first time a desktop microprocessor will combine two processor cores on the same die.
