Do you mean like Adobe Acrobat
available from their Download page. Did I mention freely ? Or perhaps Djvu Browser Plug-ins and Desktop Viewers

Not familiar with DeskPDF Professional.
We use the free CutePDF (CuteWriter.exe) and simplePDFmerger on most of our setups.
cutePDF also requires the converter.exe program. CutePDF will take you to that web site after you finish install.
I have Acrobat 8 Pro and it has been problematic since I bought it.
