A shock in store for Lexmark Printers owners?
Details are emerging that almost 40,000 laser printers from Lexmark present a danger of electrical shock hazard. Lexmark is recalling presently recalling many printers sold under the Dell, IBM and Lexmark names, which it says present a possible risk. Those models include Dell 1700 and 1700n, IBM Infoprint 1412 and 1412n, and Lexmark E232, E232t, E330, E332n, and E332tn. A short circuit can occur, which can expose the user to this shock danger. So far there have been no reports of injuries, but as stated Lexmark have taken the pre-emptive action of recalling the effected models. Apparently, Lexmark discovered the problem in internal testing.
