Hitachi to launch notebook suitable SATA HDD line

Hitachi will launch a a line of notebook suitable SATA hard drives, it has been revealed. Laptop makers are expected to use the drives in machines based on the "Sonoma" second generation Intel Centrino platform. There will be 40, 60, 80 and 100GB models of the drives.
