No new high end graphics products this year

No new high end graphics products this year

Looks like we will have no upgrades to high end Nvidia or ATI graphics products this year, according to sources. Neither company has any plans to release any new high any products in the remainder of 2004. Typically, high end products are upgraded twice per year by the two graphics giants. It will be 2005 before we see anything new in the high end arena.

Wow that really sucks! That also means prices probably wont drop too much.

I was just talking about this with my brother and he wanted to kow about what vid card would be good and if they will fall in price. Looks like its a no go.

Totally, specially with the high end games coming out now (doom 3) which for best results require a bit more memory and technology. Major bummer...
