Everytime i try to install the latest 4in1 drivers so i can run 8x agp for some reason in games all the graphics are corrupt when i uninstall the 4in1 drivers everything seems fine but when i look at the graphic properties it says that my graphics card is running PCI bus instead of AGP 8x, can anybody please shed some light on this problem.

You need to go into your bios settings and change your graphics card to agp.

I have just looked in my bios and the AGP is set to auto. Should i manually change this to 8x. I have seen on other forums that these mobo's (AOpen AK77 600GN 400FSB) have a problem with running at 8x and they recommend that you should lower it to 4x, has anybody had any success with this method.

Yes give it a try if you do get problems you can always change it to 4X.
